Multi-Dimensional: Silent soldiers, staying green, and the who behind beliefs

Cheers to another beautiful Sunday—and Happy Mother’s Day!

It’s hard to believe how quickly time is passing. Somehow, we’re already almost halfway through May.

Below are 6 journal prompts for you to explore, one for each dimension of your perspective.

Personal History

Today, I want to honor the strength of the women who came before us—especially the ones who broke cycles in silence. This poem is for the mothers who carried the weight so their children wouldn’t have to.

Silent Soldier
For my mom

Don’t think I didn’t see
The battles you faced
So I could begin life
With a clean slate

You let pride die
The moment I opened my eyes

You didn’t want me
To carry your pain
To become the place
Where your hurt resides

Courage isn’t always loud
Can’t always be seen
I didn’t understand
Until I got older
The weight you carried
On your shoulders

You never asked to be acknowledged
That’s why I call you
My Silent Soldier

The one who held it all
You gave me
A chance to stand tall

Thank you
For breaking cycles
And making our house feel like a home

I’m strong enough now
To help carry the weight
You once carried alone

In every challenge I face
I will uphold the legacy of my silent soldier
The one who always had the courage
To keep moving forward

Who has been your silent soldier, the one who carried the weight so you could find your strength?

Environment

"When you're green, you're growing. When you're ripe, you rot." — Ray Kroc

How can you stay green?

Beliefs

Rewind to 2022 Sadie.

I was insecure, full of doubt, and unsure of where I was going. Then I discovered a voice that began to break through the noise—Eddie Pinero, the creator behind Your World Within.

At first, his words were just background noise. But over time, they began to shift something in me. It made me realize that it’s not always the what that reshapes us. Sometimes, it’s the who.

Who has reframed your beliefs?
Who has changed the way you see yourself and the world around you?

Emotions

"Pride. It will cost you everything and leave you with nothing."
— Lady Danbury,
Bridgerton (Season 1)

I know there have been times when I've fallen victim to pride, when I let it win battles that didn't need to be fought.

Reflect on a time when pride got in the way of something important, whether it be a relationship, a friendship, your personal growth, or an opportunity.

If you could go back what would you do differently?

Relationships

There’s a reason they call it chemistry.

Just as elements combine in specific ways to create powerful reactions, so do people.

Take note of those who bring out the best in you, the ones who inspire you to grow and become more of who you’re meant to be.

Who comes to mind as you read this?

Identity

I just released a special guide for brides called "Before the Aisle". It was created to help navigate the emotional side of wedding planning and getting married…the part no one really talks about.

One of the entries in Part 1: The Emotional Landscape is titled "No Longer the Girls We Used to Be."

In it, I reflect on how, during the wedding planning process, I experienced several moments of derealization—where time felt warped, and it was hard to grasp how far I’d come. I kept thinking about the 17-year-old girl who left home for the first time—wide-eyed, curious, and just beginning to discover the world. In those reflections, I realized just how much had changed.

Have you ever had a moment like that? Where time seemed to slip away, the present felt surreal, and you suddenly realized you weren’t the person you used to be?

(P.S. If you’re getting married—or know someone who is—"Before the Aisle" was made for them. As a subscriber of Multi-Dimensional, use the code "BTA15" for 15% off. Offer valid until 05/31/2025)

Until next week,
