Below are 6 journal prompts for you to explore, one for each dimension of your perspective.
Personal History
It's always crazy to me to think about how the simplest decision can turn into forever.
As I write this, I am getting ready to start my wedding weekend. Amidst the excitement of all that lies ahead, I find myself revisiting the moments when my partner and I first met. I never imagined it would lead us here, but I am so grateful it did. Life has a way of surprising us in the most beautiful ways.
Is there a decision you've made that has completely changed the trajectory of your life?
Environment
"If these walls could talk, what would they say..."
I often think about how fascinating it would be to see the world through the eyes of our surroundings. We are dynamic beings— always moving, always on the go—while our environments remain still, witnessing it all.
What story do you think your environment would tell if you could see through its perspective?
Beliefs
"You're only given one little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it." - Robin Williams
What is your spark of madness? What do you see that others don't?
Emotions
Life is filled with fleeting moments, but some stay with us forever—the ones that make us feel truly alive.
What has been one of the happiest moments of your life thus far?
Relationships
It's beautiful to see how far we've come in developing the vocabulary to better understand and describe our relationships. It has allowed us to relate and connect with each other in more meaningful ways.
What is your love language?
What is your attachment style?
Identity
Nature vs. nurture is always an interesting concept to consider when it comes to identity.
When you think about your sense of self, would you say it is more influenced by your innate nature or by how you were nurtured?
Until next week,
