Multi-Dimensional: Let it be random

Happy Sunday!

Cheers to another week of learning, growing, reflecting, experiencing, and evolving.

Last Friday, I had an incredible conversation with Glo Atanmo (@glographics). She’s an entrepreneur, business coach, and multi-passionate creator. For the first time, we connected beyond Instagram DMs and hopped on Zoom. As we exchanged pieces of our life stories, she shared the twists and turns of her journey. At one point, she laughed and apologized, saying it might all sound “random.” But as I listened, that was the beauty of it. I told her that I admired how freely she allowed her story to unfold without trying to make it perfectly ordered.

In that moment, I found myself celebrating her willingness to embrace the randomness of her journey, while taking note that I often criticize my own. That realization made me pause. It reminded me that the twists and turns we go through aren’t detours, they
are the path.

Following this conversation, she created a YouTube video called "If Your Life Feels Random...You're Doing It Right". I encourage you to take a few minutes to watch. I think it is a message we all need to hear.

This week, in the spirit of letting life be random, I invite you to lean into your own unfolding story. Trust that every turn is shaping you, every chapter is leading somewhere, and every piece of your puzzle is coming together exactly as it should.

Below are 6 journal prompts, one for each dimension of perspective.

Personal History

What “random” or unexpected event from your past ended up shaping you in ways you didn’t realize it would at the time?

Environment

When has your environment (a move, a trip, or even a shift in your daily routine) surprised you by opening a new door in your life?

Beliefs

When life feels uncertain, what beliefs help you trust the bigger picture? Which beliefs make it harder to embrace the unknown?

Emotions

What emotions surface when life feels unpredictable? How can you let those feelings guide you instead of control you?

Relationships

Think of someone whose presence in your life felt unexpected but meaningful. How did that connection change your story?

Identity

How would you describe the version of yourself that knows how to flow with life’s twists and turns?

Until next week,
