Happy Sunday!
I hope you've all had a beautiful week. The theme of this week's newsletter is: trust yourself.
As I’ve been reflecting, I realized how often I’ve looked outside myself for answers that could only be found within. It’s not easy. There are no guarantees when we turn inward. It feels safer to scroll for answers or wait for certainty. But every time we do, we reinforce the belief that we can’t trust the person we need to trust most....ourselves.
This is why understanding your perspective matters so deeply. With each week of these questions, I hope you’ve begun to see and honor who you are and how you see the world because the more you do, the more you learn to truly trust yourself.
Trust grows with practice. Start small. Start today.
Below are 6 journal prompts for you to explore, one for each dimension of your perspective.
Personal History
Think back to a moment when you trusted yourself, even when others doubted you. What happened, and what did you learn from it?
Environment
Where in your environment (home, work, community) do you feel most able to trust yourself? Where do you feel least able to? Why?
Beliefs
What belief about yourself would you need to strengthen in order to trust yourself more fully?
Emotions
When was the last time you ignored your intuition or feelings, and what was the result? How might trusting your emotions have changed the outcome?
Relationships
How do the people around you impact your ability to trust yourself? Who encourages it, and who makes it harder?
Identity
What version of yourself have you trusted the most? How can you bring more of that version into your daily life?
Until next week,
