Multi-Dimensional: Friendship, memories, and the top six beliefs

Happy Sunday!

Below are 6 journal prompts for you to explore, one for each dimension of your perspective.

Personal History

Our perspectives are like vaults, storing the moments and memories that shape us.

As you think about your life, what is one of your favorite memories?

Environment

New thoughts come from new stimuli. Sometimes the best way to get unstuck is to find some fresh perspective.

This week, I challenge you to go to an environment different from the ones you usually find yourself in. Take a blank piece of paper and see what comes to mind.

Let the thoughts flow.

Beliefs

I recently had a conversation with my friend Angel Lyn, the inspiring author of Soul-U-lar Evolution about the six core beliefs that most people unknowingly subscribe to.

She explained that behind every thought lies a deeper belief, and these six are often at the root of the struggles many people face:

  1. I am failing.
  2. I am not enough.
  3. I am not lovable.
  4. I am not worthy.
  5. I am not safe.
  6. I do not belong.

Are you subscribing to any of these beliefs? How is it impacting you?

Emotions

One of my goals for the new year was simply to feel.

As I reflect, I realize that I have spent much of my life trying to intellectualize my human experience instead of being fully present in it.

Do you also find yourself analyzing instead of truly feeling? If so, how can you allow yourself to experience emotions more fully?

Relationships

"Friendship is the only cement that will ever hold the world together." — Woodrow Wilson

Who in your life has been the cement that holds your world together?

Identity

Each person you meet will meet a different version of you.

How many different versions of yourself do you think there are?

Until next week,
