Multi-Dimensional: Choices and their silent drivers

Happy Sunday!

Below are 6 journal prompts for you to explore, one for each dimension of your perspective.

Personal History

Tomorrow.
A word we speak with such certainty.

If you knew it wasn't guaranteed, what part of your story would you begin writing today?

Environment

Pause wherever you are, and take a look at the space around you.

Are you inside or outside?
If you're inside, what color are the walls?
If you're outside, what is surrounding you?
How bright is it?
What sounds do you hear?
What does it smell like?
Is the air warm, cool, still, or moving?
Are you alone, or are there others nearby?
Don't forget to look up.

What did you observe?

If you could describe how this space makes you feel in one word, what would it be.

Beliefs

We often struggle to understand why people believe what they do— about themselves, others, or the world—because we’re missing one essential thing: context.

How do we gain context?
We ask questions.

Questions are the key to someone’s inner world. They unlock stories, shape empathy, and make space for understanding.

What’s one question someone would need to ask you to understand what you believe?

Try asking someone else that same question.

Emotions

Emotions are the silent drivers behind our choices and our behaviors. Notice how your response shifts with just one word:

What would the bold version of you do?
What would the
doubtful version of you do?
What would the
grateful version of you do?
What would the
fearful version of you do?
What would the
hopeful version of you do?
What would the
resentful version of you do?

Relationships

One of the hardest things about relationships is that we have to learn life’s biggest lessons on each other.

It’s through our connections—with friends, family, partners, even strangers—that we grow, heal, and come to understand ourselves.

A couple of weeks ago, I asked you what lessons you’ve learned from observing the people around you. This week, I want you to take it a layer deeper.

What life lessons have you learned
through your relationships?

Identity

Who you are is a choice.

Each action, each decision, becomes the sum of who you are. You’re not defined by your past, but you will be defined by what you choose next.

What’s one small decision you could make today that aligns with the person you’re becoming?

Until next week,
