Multi-Dimensional: Breathing life through stories and acting with courage

Happy Sunday!

Below are 6 journal prompts for you to explore, one for each dimension of your perspective.

Personal History

Lately, I’ve been interested in learning more about the lives of those who came before me. My grandma on my dad’s side passed away when I was really young, and recently, I’ve felt a deep pull to learn more about her.

The last time I had dinner with my aunt, she shared stories about her, and I was able to see little glimpses into a life I never got to witness firsthand. Sometimes, the only way to reach into the past is through the memories of others.

Who in your family lineage are you curious about? Who holds the stories that can bring them back to life for you?

Environment

As I pulled into Salt Lake City, leaving behind the sunny Las Vegas landscape for one covered in snow, I felt different. Even with it being the same season, the way my surroundings looked shifted my perspective, evoking new emotions and insights.

How do seasonal changes in your environment influence the way you think and feel?

Beliefs

"Your daily behavior is always a function of your deepest beliefs." —Robin Sharma

What do your daily actions show you about your beliefs?

Emotions

Courage is the ability to step boldly into fear and do what scares us most anyway.

Think of a time in your life when you acted with courage—what happened as a result of it? Where do you need to act with courage now?

Relationships

As my wedding approaches, I find myself thinking about how wild it is that I met my partner seven years ago—completely by chance—and now he’s such an integral part of my life. It’s fascinating how certain people, whether friends or partners, cross our paths and become woven into our stories in ways we never could have imagined.

Who is someone you've met unexpectedly that is now a meaningful part of your life? How did your paths cross?

Identity

"Argue for your limitations, and sure enough they're yours." —Richard Bach

We get to decide.

Where do you argue for your limitations to be?

Until next week,
